Warehouse Safety Solutions were incredibly excited to be featured at the UK’s largest exhibition, IntraLogisteX 2023, at the NEC in Birmingham.

As specialists in improving warehouse safety and asset protection, we were proud to display our safety innovations and services to the logistics industry and speak to many professionals across the sector.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and spoke to us, we hope you loved our stand and enjoyed checking out our brand new innovative Virtual Warehouse.

Alongside the Virtual Reality experience, we were delighted to be showcasing a range of products designed to elevate the level of health and safety in your facility; Our polymeric barrier range, our indestructible Projected Safety Markings, and our Surface Marking & Maintenance Solutions.

Setup

Our IntraLogisteX adventure started on Monday afternoon, the team began the journey from our main office here in Portsmouth loaded with our new event kit, this time the most interactive stand we have had to date, featuring our latest range of products and our new Virtual Warehouse!

We could not wait to show off our new display when the event kicked off the following morning, so after a long afternoon, leading into the night, we finished setting up our stand and hit the hay for a solid night’s rest.

Day 1

The Warehouse Safety Solutions team was up bright and breezy, prepared for an exciting day of meeting new faces from the industry, and it was a pleasant surprise to see lots of familiar faces throughout the day.

We were lucky enough to have our stand right next to The Keynote Theatre, the main conference stage for IntraLogisteX 2023. Lots of topics were covered and the theme of sustainability, technology transition, and minimising carbon consumption was welcomed greatly, alongside the impressive guest speaker list – featuring Richard Holden MP, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State at the Department for Transport, Tim Jones, Director of Marketing, Communications & Sustainability for DPD Group, alongside many others. This was not one to be missed.

Additionally to the Keynote Theatre, there were two more conference stages – The Technology and Process Theatre and The Robotics and Automation Theatre, both offering visitors more food for thought on technological innovations within the industry. It was great to hear valuable insight into important industry topics throughout the day, like Robotics, AI optimisation, and initiatives to meet sustainability targets. See the full list of Tuesday's speakers here.

As the first day of IntraLogisteX came to an end, the team reflected on the busy insightful day that had been, all the wonderful individuals that we got the pleasure of speaking to, and began winding down ready for round two tomorrow.

Day 2

Again, the Warehouse Safety Solutions team was up again bright and breezy, ready for day two of the IntraLogistex exhibition. It was another busy day, filled with more great opportunities to speak to so many wonderful individuals.

Amongst the showcasing of different businesses offering their innovative products and services, day 2 once again offered an insightful range of guest speakers across all their stages, from business founders like Sebastian Steinhauser the CEO and Founder of Parcelly, alongside other important industry figures like the Executive Director for the NHS Supply Chain, Chris Holmes. See here for a complete list of Wednesday’s speakers.

There was certainly a large amount of value to be found all over the venue, topics discussed at the Keynote Theatre stage, found alongside our stand were incredibly thought-provoking, as were the conferences held at the two other theatres.

Topics discussed on Wednesday – From discussion regarding autonomous mobile robots, new product marketing, and Goods-to-Person technology innovation. See a full list of Wednesday’s speakers here.
