PORTSMOUTH COUNCIL LAKESIDE CAR PARK

Lakeside Office Park was acquired by Portsmouth City Council in August 2019. The asset was originally developed in 1976 and the carparking and roadway areas included significant volumes of concrete, which have since been overlaid using asphalt systems. Where vertical joints had not been created in the asphalt, the movement of the old concrete slabs has resulted in surface failures in the asphalt. A full resurfacing programme would be ideal, but wasn’t in the two-year maintenance budget, so an alternative solution was needed.

LIDL HQ

A new surface was required to support the offices of lidl HQ in Dublin. The project was very large and included mixing traditional concrete sections with Resin Bound.
